As you can see (a little bit) in the photo on the left of Miss Rachel(ina mia bambina), she owns a lovely Barbie of Swan Lake dress-up dress. And during lunch this afternoon, she was wearing said dress.
This in itself isn't a bad thing.
Its when we keep hopping up from the table to "see something" over 'n over again--while a bowl of chicken noodle soup is in front of us--that you have a problem.
And this problem, as you may have guessed, spilled all over the fairytale gown in question.
So my question to all you other Mommies out there with little girls who ADORE dress-up dresses is this:
How do you get the chicken noodle "smell" out of such a dress, when you *can't* toss it in the washer, lest it shred to bits??????
I've already soaked it in the bathtub with laundry soap in cold water.
The only other thing I can think of is a hefty spray-down with my trusty bottle of Febreeze.
Seriously, if anyone out there has a suggestion, I'm all ears (or eyes, in this case).
