If you give a Boy his favorite book about a Mouse he will happily sit down to read it.
And as the Boy reads about the Mouse eating a cookie, he will suddenly want a cookie, too.
But the Boy doesn't have any cookies.
So he will decide to bake his own instead.
Finding the Mouse's recipe in the book, the Boy asks his Mother to help him.
So they gather the ingredients and carefully follow the Mouse's special recipe.
The Boy carefully makes criss-crosses on each cookie top before putting them in the oven.
And when those cookies come out tasty, chances are
the Boy will be very proud of himself.
