What do you think of this article, Ladies? To me, it seems a bit silly to see spending $100 a week on groceries for a family of 4 as a "challenge". I've met so many wonderful fellow bloggers who've managed to spend that amount a MONTH on their families--including paper and toiletry items.
So, what do you think? Would spending $100 a week be a challenge for your family, or do you think you could make it work? Or better still, could you make it work with even less? Like say $75 or even $50 a week?
Now, the article's challenge consisted of not using coupons or purchasing paper products. But I think that if one did use coupons (an matched them with sale prices in grocery flyers), and set a menu for the week, you could successfully spend less than $100 in a week.
But seriously, what do you think???? Hmm...Maybe I should throw out a little blog challenge of my own! Ha! Wouldn't that be fun?! How many of us can spend LESS than $100 a week (including paper products and toiletry items)?
