Book Review: One Year Mother-Daughter Devo Bible

Devo The One Year Mother~Daughter Devo(tional) Bible is designed to help mothers and their tweenage daughters grow closer together as they grow closer to the Lord.

Written by best-selling authors and Secret Keeper Girl conference creators/speakers, Dannah Gresh and Janet Mylin, The One Year Mother Daughter Devo consists of 365 daily devotional readings along with engaging discussion questions on a variety of topics including:

  • Modesty
  • Purity
  • Self-esteem
  • Handling emotions
  • Living out your faith
  • and more!

As an added bonus, the Devotional also includes fun craft ideas and tasty recipes for extra “girl time”. One last thing, just because it says “one year” doesn’t mean you have to start reading on January 1st. You can pick it up at whatever point you’d like and go from there. Easy!

What I really liked about this book is that it’s:

  1. Pink and flowery
  2. Written in plain English (no difficult theology to explain)
  3. The crafts and recipes were simple enough for even ME to complete, which is really saying something!

This devotional would make a great group Bible study program or a fun way to spice up your daily Bible time with your daughter(s). I highly recommend it! :)
